Techland, the developer behind Dying Light have released a new trailer showcasing a new area which has been added to the Enhanced Edition of Dying Light: The Following.

The new area is called ‘Countryside’ and is twice the size of the original game and comes complete with new characters, enemies and new quests, as well as new environments, locations and secrets to be uncovered.

‘We made sure the new region is full of diverse environments that allow for both driving and free-running. We’ve added lots of little details that tell various apocalyptic stories if you look closely, and placed rewarding secrets for the most inquisitive’ – reveals producer Tymon Smektała. – ‘We’re also proud to confirm that despite the much bigger map and many visual enhancements, the system requirements for PC players remain exactly the same.’

Dying Light: The Following is due for release on the 9th of February 2016 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with the Enhanced Edition launching on the same day. If you still haven’t played Dying Light, why not check out our review to see what you’re missing out on?
