Following two delays and a “sometime in the 2017-2018 fiscal year” placeholder, Ubisoft has announced that South Park: The Fractured but Whole, the sequel to 2014’s The Stick Of Truth will finally release across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in October this year

The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer titled “The Farting Vigilante”, showing off more of the game’s cutscenes and battle sequences. Closer inspection reveals some hilarious easter eggs, including Token Black’s alter-ego Tupperware having a Hulkbuster-like suit and what appear to be four-assed honey badgers overrunning Dr Mephesto’s laboratory.

Ubisoft have also reinstated the incentive to download a digital copy of The Stick Of Truth when pre-ordering The Fractured but Whole, although beware The Wizard King’s sage advice “…you know what you get for preordering a game? A big d**k in your mouth”

South Park: The Fractured but Whole is due to be released across PS4, Xbox One and PC on 17th October 2017
