Nintendo has released a new firmware revision into the wild for the Nintendo 3DS and 2DS family of consoles. Version 11.5.0-38 doesn’t add anything significant and is the seventeenth update of its kind.

The official patch notes on the Nintendo once again note the below.

Main changes for version 11.5.0-38U

Update released: July 10th, 2017

Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience

It looks like Nintendo has given up on adding new features to their handheld system, seeing as it has been well over two years since anything has been added.
