Season two of Telltale’s Batman series kicks off later this month with episode one of a five-part episode story.
Titled ‘The Enigma’, episode one will be available for download on the 8th of August for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC; Android and iOS device owners will need to wait until early October.
In this latest chapter, both Bruce Wayne and Batman will be forced into precarious new roles. The Riddler has returned to terrorize Gotham City, but his gruesome puzzles merely foreshadow an even greater crisis. With the arrival of a ruthless federal agent and the return of a still nascent Joker, Batman must navigate uneasy alliances while Bruce Wayne undertakes a perilous series of deceptions. Which of Batman’s new allies will you choose to trust? And how deep into the darkness will you let Bruce descend?
Batman: The Enemy Within is considered a standalone game. While it builds on the first season new time players are not required to have played it. The game will also feature Telltale’s ‘Crowd Play’ feature which allows family members and friends to help influence the choices made in the game.
while the digital version of the first episode is available for download starting August the 8th, a physical retail copy of the game will be made available as of the 3rd of October; this version will contain episode one on the disk and a download code for the remaining four episodes.
