New Monster Hunter: World Trailer Showcases the Wildspire Waste

Ahead of Gamescom next week, Capcom has released a new gameplay trailer for Monster Hunter: World which showcases a new area for players to traverse and hunt in.

Apart from looking visually stunning the new trailer gives us a look at how Monster Hunter World will play. The new area, known as Wildspire Waste, is a massive and mostly dry expanse of land littered with swamplands and sticky mud where monsters like the Barroth will feel right at home.

In addition, we get to see a few of the monsters that will be making their way into the game. As mentioned above, the Barroth will be making a return as well as the Rathian by the looks of it. The new Kulu-Ya-Ku can be seen, a bird-like beast which steals the eggs of other monsters from the Ancient Forrest and Wildspire Waste.

While Monster Hunter XX may be heading towards the Nintendo Switch with no western release date as of yet, Monster Hunter: World is due for release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in early 2018 world wide.
