Maize to Get Console Release This September

Finish Line Games has announced that their first person adventure game Maize will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this September, following a successful PC launch in December last year. Maize shows what happens when two scientists misinterpret a memo from the U.S. Government and create sentient corn. And that last sentence is pretty much the least ridiculous thing about the game.

The console release announcement trailer shows just how absurd Maize can be as it poses the question “How many sentient corn does it take to use a controller?”. The trailer goes on to answer its own question, with a growing number of anthropomorphic corn periodically popping up on screen, followed by a bear looking on with disdain!

We’re digging Maize’s surreal vibe, but if that wasn’t enough to whet your appetite, check out the original PC launch trailer:

Maize is due to be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 12th September
