Nintendo Updates the Switch to Version 3.0.2

Switch fans waiting for more additions to their hybrid console will be sorely disappointed with the newest firmware update.

Bringing the Switch up to firmware version 3.0.2, the update adds very little in the way of functionality. Though, it does benefit players in the South Americas.

Improvements Included in Version 3.0.2
  • Nintendo Switch Online
    Added online play in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Peru. This is currently available for free until the paid online service launches in 2018.
  • General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience

Still no word on when we’ll see video sharing on the system or any other features such as video streaming services or a browser. I’m sure Nintendo will deliver eventually.
