Yooka-Laylee Finally Has a Nintendo Switch Release Date

After what feels like an eternity of waiting, Playtonic Games has finally confirmed a solid release date for Yooka-Laylee on the Nintendo Switch.

Released back in April for other platforms, Yooka-Laylee was a delight to play, but looks to be even better in its portable iteration on the Nintendo Switch. Playtonic has confirmed it will feature “a shed-load of polish and updates” and will allow players to play using single JoyCons in all eight multiplayer games plus a custom in-game achievement system.

The last few months have seen the team at Playtonic working on the Switch version with input from Nintendo and Unity to deliver a quality experience both at home and on the go.

If you’re interested in picking up a copy of Yooka-Laylee for the Nintendo Switch you can pre-order on the eShop as of the 7th of December. The game will release on the 14th of December.
