Capcom Confirm Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for Nintendo Switch

It’s only taken Capcom a year but the gaming giant has finally confirmed that there will be a Monster Hunter game on the Switch in the West.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is the follow up to Monster Hunter Generations on the Nintendo 3DS and will launch in North America and Europe on the 28th of August 2018. For the first time in the series, gamers will have the option to play how they want – either locally or online, at home or on the go – thanks to the Nintendo Switch’s unique setup.

Generations Ultimate will feature a number of new monsters as well as returning fan-favourites and new explorable areas. And, if like me, you’ve sunk an ungodly number of hours into the original, Capcom has confirmed that save data will be transferable! Phew!

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is due for release on the 28th of August 2018 on the Nintendo Switch.
