With E3 done been and gone, we’ve had time for the dust to settle. And as the magnitude of releases has finally begun to sink in, it’s clear that Nintendo didn’t offer a strong input like they did last year. It’s unsurprising to hear that their shares have dropped since their E3 conference, but the Big N apparently has more to offer in 2018.
During Nintendo’s 78th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (a yearly affair), CEO Tatsumi Kimishima stepped down as the head of the legendary gaming company to allow a new president to be appointed. During this meeting Kimishima was asked about the future of the company moving forward – it’s no secret that the company’s shares have taken a bit of a drop since E3.
He assures shareholders that Nintendo has yet to reveal their final 2018 lineup and that they still have a strong Autumn release schedule planned for the Nintendo Switch.
With games like Animal Crossing and Metroid Prime 4 noticably abcent from the LA gathering, it’ll be interesting to see if Nintendo has anything to release. What do you think? Could they be holding back a number of unannounced releases? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
