The Bear and Bird Figure Head Pays Homage to Banjo-Kazooie in Sea of Thieves

Sea of Thieves developer Rare recently opened a poll on their Twitter page for players to vote on a new figurehead to be added into the game. The theme was games of the past, where the company wanted to pay tribute to previous games in their catalogue. The players have voted and decided Banjo-Kazooie deserved to be immortalised on the bow of their ships.

The Bear and Bird – as the figurehead is known – is a subtle nod to the 1998 classic and keeps in line with the Sea of Thieves aesthetics. It features a grizzly looking bear holding an azure-blue shield adorned with a red bird. The figurehead is only available for a limited time and will set players back 1998 hard-plundered gold pieces.

What do you think of the new figurehead? Did you vote for it? Let us know in the comments below.
