The futuristic racer from Wired Productions, GRIP: Combat Racing, finally has a release date.

Coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintneod Switch on the 6th of November 2018, GRIP: Combat Racing is inspired by games such as Rollcage from the PlayStation One era.

“We’re getting pretty excited as we near the finish line on GRIP,” said Chris Mallinson, Game Director. “It’s been surreal to see this passion project evolve into the intense combat racing experience that players will soon be able to dive into.”

GRIP: Combat Racing sees players race around 22 tracks while using different powerups to give themselves an advantage by targeting other players or the environment around them. GRIP will feature split-screen races and tournaments as well as online play. In GRIP winning isn’t the only thing that’s important; destruction and mayhem play a huge part too.

While console gamers will have to wait until the 6th of December, PC players can get to grips with the game through early access on Steam. Players who pre-order through Game in the UK will receive the exclusive Nyvoss Hex Paint Kit, the Vortex Rim Pack, and five pre-order exclusive vehicle decals.
