Telltale Games has today announced that their critically acclaimed series based off of AMC’s The Walking Dead will be making it’s way to the Nintendo Switch. The complete first season along with the short anthology 400 Days will be making its way to Nintendo’s hybrid console later this month, with season 2 and the Final Frontier making their way to the eShop later this year.

The first episode in Chlemantines final chapter is already available to download on the Switch, but the later this month The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season will let players experience where it all began with visually enhanced versions of all five episodes as well as the 400 Days DLC.

Season One is due for release in North America, Europe, and Australia on August 28th 2018 through the Nintendo eShop for $24.99 – Most likely around the £20.00 mark here in the UK.

Telltale has also confirmed that The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will also be making their way to the Switch later this year; meanwhile, episode one of The Walking Dead: The Final Season launched earlier this month on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with the remaining episodes releasing throughout the rest of the year.
